Thursday,15th of August,
Today we got our american sim-card in blue springs. After that we went to Clinton, becouse Vincenzo had to do his written test for the driving permit again. This time he past! Congratulations.
Friday, 16th of August,
Today we went to school, becouse the doors have to be painted. Also the boys shower. When prepared the boys shower, Janet (host mom) painted a door. In the afternoon, after lunch. Vincenzo and I tried to mow the yard. The lawn mower did not work how it supposed to be, so we failed to do it.
Saturday, 17th of August,
Today we painted the boys shower, it looks very good! This afternoon we repaired the lawn mower, but it broke down again. But Janet already mowed a part of the yard, that was the only nice thing about it.
Sunday, 18th of August,
Today we went to Springfield, first to Lambert's. A restaurant where they throw Hot-rolls (sort of a bread) at you, and they give you way to much food. After that we went to a shopping mall, i bought a Kansas City chiefs hat. We also went to Go Brass Shop, a very big outdoor shop. It was a very fun day
Monday, 19th of August,
Today we did nothing special. But at the end of the day, my driving permit arrived. today we also repaired the lawn mower again, but now it did not broke down.
Tuesday, 20th of August,
Today was the open house. We met some of the teachers, and saw some of the classrooms.
Wednesday, 21th of August,
Today was the first day school, it was in every class almost the same: introducing. The counselor also changed a few of our subject, so that we would be more with in class with seniors. They changed, English 2 to English 4 and Algebra 2 to Math Analysis.
Thursday, 22nd of August,
Today was the second day of school. We began with American History. The teacher asked us why the civil war was in the US. I answered and the people were like 'how do you know that'. That was funny.
